Harvest of Inner Promise
Joel 2:18-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joel 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God promises relief, nourishment, and restoration when you align with your inner state. External threats dissolve as inner trust is renewed.
Neville's Inner Vision
The land is your consciousness and the jealous LORD is the I AM guarding awareness. The corn, wine, and oil symbolize conditions you accept in mind. When you say 'I will send,' you are not commanding God; you are stating an assumption of provision. The northern army stands for fear, doubt, and lack; by turning away from it and dwelling in the felt reality of abundance, you drive that army into a desolate place in imagination while remaining in a state of satisfaction. The line about making you a reproach among the heathen translates to dissolving separation by recognizing unity with divine supply. The renewal is a creation of a faithful inner life, a return to covenant loyalty to the I AM inside. The whole movement is an inner shift: a new creation formed through belief in abundance, made tangible by sustained inner attention and feeling.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling, 'I am fully supplied now.' Visualize corn, wine, and oil flowing into your life as a sign of the I AM’s protection, and rest in the conviction that the northern army has dissolved within your consciousness.
