Scripture Focus

35Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
Job 9:35

Biblical Context

Job says he would speak without fear, yet that fearless state is not his current condition. The verse highlights an inner dread attached to the sense of God's power.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the I AM lens, Job’s longing to speak fearlessly exposes a mind divided from its own power. Fear, in this light, is not a verdict issued from God but a condition you entertain in the theater of your own awareness. To change it, you must stop seeking outside authority and return your attention to the I AM that already is, the quiet Presence that knows you, in truth, as fearless. Holiness and separation are internal alignments of state: you imagine yourself as separate from power or protection, and so you tremble. Yet Faith and Trust are not future virtues; they are present decisions to inhabit a flagship state of consciousness where you can stand in the very presence of the 'power' you fear and feel no threat. When you revise your point of view and speak from the I AM, obedience becomes joyful alignment with life, not servile dread. Then you would speak, not in fear, but as the I AM speaking through you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and place your hand on your chest. Repeat, 'I am not afraid; I AM here, and I speak from this Presence.' Visualize yourself conversing with God without tremor, as the fearless voice of your true I AM.
