Inner Time in Job 7:1-7

Job 7:1-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 7 in context

Scripture Focus

1Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?
2As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of his work:
3So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.
4When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day.
5My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.
6My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and are spent without hope.
7O remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see good.
Job 7:1-7

Biblical Context

Job laments that life on earth feels brief and full of toil. The days pass swiftly, nights bring restlessness, and hope seems out of reach.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Job’s cry lies a doorway: time on earth is a projection of your inner state. You are not bound by calendar or fatigue; you are the I AM, the awareness through which all scenes arise. When you hear 'days are swift' or 'there is no hope,' recognize these as thoughts in need of revision. The appointed time is an inner rhythm you claim by imagination. So I say: tighten your focus on the timeless observer and revise the scene from weariness to readiness. Feel the reality of the I AM as if it were your direct experience; let the feeling of permanence dawn in you, and the outer world will mirror that state. The shadow you once feared is simply a mind-body script loosening its grip as you persist in assuming the opposite: that you are one with the eternal I AM and all durations bend to your awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the I AM now. Feel the timeless inner weather steady your breath as you revise your sense of time.
