Right Words, Inner State

Job 6:25-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 6 in context

Scripture Focus

25How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove?
26Do ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one that is desperate, which are as wind?
Job 6:25-26

Biblical Context

The verse contrasts the force of right words with the futility of arguing from a desperate mind. Outer speech fades when the inner state is clear.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your language, like Job's friend’s counter-argument, is not what shifts the world; it is the state behind the words. When you identify with the I AM, the awareness that you are, you discover that 'right words' are not shouted arguments but the natural expression of a fulfilled state. Desperation makes speech wind-blown; it disperses because it carries no anchoring reality. The inner man, however, remains untouched by the storm when he remembers his unity with the One Source. So the remedy is not to prove others wrong with louder sentences, but to revise your inner assumption until it feels true that you are already possessing the desired result. Imagine that the very words you would like to hear are living in your own consciousness, and that your inner dialogue aligns with them. The moment such alignment occurs, the external talking becomes a harmless wind, unable to disturb your settled certainty.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the inner state of the 'right words' now; sit in stillness and feel the I AM as your grounding. Revise anxious thoughts until your inner voice speaks with calm certainty.
