Read Job 5 in context

Scripture Focus

15But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
Job 5:15-16

Biblical Context

God saves the poor from danger and from the threats of the powerful; this deliverance grants them hope and silences the accusing voices within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner 'poor' is the humble, open state of awareness; the 'sword' and the 'mouth of the mighty' are fears and judgments. When you return to the I AM, salvation becomes a present disposition: the external world cannot determine your inner result. The verse's phrase 'the poor hath hope' signals a turning of consciousness toward expectancy, a faith that dissolves absence as you dwell in the one mind. 'Iniquity stoppeth her mouth' is the quiet of self-condemnation as you maintain a right assumption. Your imagination is the instrument by which you awaken to your salvation now, not by pleading with circumstance but by declaring the truth of your I AM.

Practice This Now

Sit in stillness and affirm 'I AM saved now' until the feeling of safety and hopeful expectancy fills you; then proceed with the day from that assured state.
