The Inner Intercessor Within Job
Job 42:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God directs that a burnt offering be offered for the others, and Job will pray for them. God accepts Job when the petition is aligned with what is right.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the events in this passage are inner drama within consciousness. The three visitors symbolize the restless thoughts of fear, pride, and limitation; Job represents the steadfast prayer state of the I AM within you. The burnt offering is a symbolic release of old identifications and attachments, a surrender of mental images that block true petition. When the LORD says my servant Job shall pray for you, He is affirming that the true self, the I AM, must intercede for the whole condition of your mind. The seven bulls and seven rams symbolize a complete, finished act of inner offering—an inner ceremony that seals the intercession. As you dwell in this vision, understand that acceptance flows from the I AM when the petition arises from the right state, not from ego’s need. The folly of separation falls away, and restoration enters as a natural consequence of aligning your inner states with truth.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Assume you are Job in your own psyche; make a symbolic burnt offering for your current circumstance by releasing a limiting belief, then sit as the intercessor and feel the I AM accepting your petition.
