Job 42:1-2 Inner Sovereignty

Job 42:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 42 in context

Scripture Focus

1Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
2I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
Job 42:1-2

Biblical Context

Job declares that God can do everything and that no thought can be hidden from Him. He thus submits to divine sovereignty.

Neville's Inner Vision

Be still, and hear Job’s words as your own inner confession. The I AM, the one within you, is the power that can do all things and knows every thought. When Job says 'no thought can be withheld from thee,' he is telling you that your inner God cannot be surprised by any image you hold; it simply is aware of it and rearranges circumstance to echo your inner conviction. The outer circumstances are but a mirror of your inner assumption. To live this truth you must refuse the habit of doubting and pretend that the I AM is your immediate experience. In this moment, you are the fountain of all possible outcomes, and nothing is withheld from your awareness. Practice assuming the feeling that a desired condition is already true, and let the mind rest in that assumption until it becomes natural. Your job is to align your inner speech with the all-knowing, all-possible I AM, and in that alignment your world will respond.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the I AM can do all things in this very moment, and revise a limiting thought until it yields to possibility. Feel it real by dwelling in the sensation that the desired outcome is already true.
