I Am Sovereign: Job 41

Job 41:9-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 41 in context

Scripture Focus

9Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
Job 41:9-11

Biblical Context

God asserts His absolute sovereignty; fear of power is futile. No one can stand before Him, and all under heaven is His.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this reading, Leviathan is the image of a fear thought that would rule your life. The I AM within you is not an external conqueror but the central awareness that claims sovereignty over every scene. When you realize that “everything under heaven is mine,” you understand that the entire stage of experience is under your inner governor—the kingly self you are becoming by conscious assumption. The kingdom of God is a state of consciousness you can inhabit now, a posture that does not bow to circumstance but commands it through inner faith. If fear arises, revise the scene by affirming, I am the I AM, sovereign of all that appears, and feel the reality of that power until it alters your experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the I AM as your sovereign self; revise a troubling scene by repeating, 'Everything under heaven is mine.' Feel that kingly awareness here and now until fear dissolves.
