Job 4:15-16

Biblical Context

A brief, uncanny spirit passes before him; his hair stands on end, there is silence, and a voice speaks.

Neville's Inner Vision

That which passed before Job’s face is not a separate visitor but the inner movement of consciousness that is already yours when you imagine. The hair standing is the body's alertness to a shift in state, a sign that you are crossing from old pictures into a new I AM. The fact that the form could not be discerned simply means you have not fixed your new image with enough clarity; the silence is the sacred pause where awareness waits for you to name yourself as already having what you seek. The voice is the internal authorization that what you hear comes from your own mind—your thought made flesh. When you accept this, you realize the event is not prophesy blown from without, but the natural law of imagination at work: you are creating your reality by an inner state. Therefore, attend to the feeling of the wish fulfilled; revise every stubborn image until your life updates to reflect your inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, and assume the feeling that your desire is already yours. Let the imagined voice speak within you until it registers as real.
