Job 4:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Job 4:13-14 describes fear arising from night visions and the trembling that shakes the body. It shows fear as an inner condition, not an external force.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the vantage of the I AM, the visions of the night are not prophecies spoken to you from without, but vivid images created by your own inward state. When deep sleep falls on men, the mind retreats to habit, and fear comes, trembling through the bones as if the body were a map of a reality you have not revoked. Yet fear is not a tyrant; it is a signal that you have entertained a mental posture inconsistent with your true nature. The moment you treat the 'I' within as the sole creator, you begin to revise the scene. In place of the tremor, assume the feeling of safety, steadiness, and luminous presence. Say, quietly, 'I am the I AM; this fear is not mine to own.' Breathe into the stance of omnipresent awareness, and let the inner vision align with this consciousness. The night vision will gradually reconfigure, and the external tremors will follow your inner occupancy, not the other way around. The invitation is to dwell in a present-tense confidence that dissolves the fear at its root.
Practice This Now
Practice: In a quiet moment, recall Job 4:13-14, and affirm: 'I am the I AM; fear is not mine to own.' Then breathe and feel the calm spreading through the bones as you dwell in that conscious state.
