Inner Wings Of Providence

Job 39:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 39 in context

Scripture Focus

13Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?
Job 39:13

Biblical Context

The verse questions the distribution of gifts in creation, reminding us that each creature has its own appointed faculties. It signals an underlying order and providence in God’s design.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here, God asks you to inspect your inner inventory: have you given the peacocks their wings or kept the ostrich bound to the ground? This is not about birds but your state of consciousness. The ostrich is a mind sure of its limits; the peacock is a consciousness aware of its function and beauty. The gifts belong to your awareness, to the I AM you are, not to an outer world. When you accept that creation and order are expressions of your inward life, you cease seeking change in others and begin revising your own image. Providence appears as alignment: feeling precedes form. Listen for the inner movement—where do you feel restricted, and what state would you prefer? In assuming that state and feeling it real, you release the wings you seek and watch the outer scene unfold to fit your inner posture.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of having the wings you desire; dwell in the feeling of freedom or mastery, and let that sensation saturate your being.
