5God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
Job 37:3-5

Biblical Context

God directs the storm under the whole heaven, with lightning to the ends of the earth. The voice of God roars in majesty, and its greatness exceeds human understanding.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Job 37:3-5 the storm is a symbol of the mind in action. God—the I AM behind all awareness—directs the thunder and the lightning across the inner sky. The roaring voice is not outside you but the vibration of your own state when you accept that you are the one hearing and directing your life. The great things spoken of are not distant events; they are the very moves of your consciousness when you trust your inner command. When you claim God’s power as your own, you cease resisting appearances and begin revising your state until reality aligns with your artful assumption. The marvels you cannot comprehend become visible as you hold to the truth that you are the I AM, the observer and creator of form, and that every outward event is the outward sign of an inward divine rhythm.

Practice This Now

Assume the state 'I AM the I in all I see.' Feel it real by declaring, 'I direct the storm of my life,' and rest in the conviction that this is now so.
