The Cleansing Wind Within

Job 37:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 37 in context

Scripture Focus

21And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Job 37:21

Biblical Context

People cannot see the bright inner light while it is hidden by clouds. The wind passes through and cleanses them.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the 'clouds' are the outward appearances of lack or delay; the 'bright light' is the I AM within you, your present awareness and imaginal state that animates every scene. The wind that passes and cleanses them is the movement of consciousness when you assume a new state and release the old belief. The wind does not coerce; it reveals by lifting away what cannot stand in the light of your new assumption. People fail to see the light because they fix their gaze on the clouds, on surfaces, on the condition. You, however, are the observer who feels the wind transforming the weather of your inner atmosphere. When you dwell in the feeling that your desire is already fulfilled, you set the wind in motion and the clouds dissolve, revealing the brightness within. This is not a future eventuality; it is your present reality realized by the I AM rather than the outward scene. Restoration, purity, and integrity come as the atmosphere clears.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the wind is cleansing your inner clouds now and feel the light within as already present. State quietly: 'I am the light within; the clouds are being cleared by the wind of my consciousness.'
