Beyond the Wind Inner Illumination

Job 37:20-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 37 in context

Scripture Focus

20Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
21And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Job 37:20-21

Biblical Context

Job 37:20-21 speaks of the limits of speaking about God and of perceiving the divine light within; a cleansing wind passes through, renewing the mind.

Neville's Inner Vision

Job’s warning about speaking for God becomes a doorway to the inner kingdom. The so-called bright light in the clouds is not an external spectacle but the I AM shining in you, awaiting recognition. The wind that passes and cleanses is the breath of awareness moving through your consciousness, dissolving the stubborn shapes of limitation. Do not chase words about God; let your imagination awaken to the truth that you are the living I AM and that awareness alone creates what you behold. When you assume the feeling of your own divinity and imagine the wind sweeping through your thoughts, you invite renewal and clear perception. The scene you call “world” is simply a variable expression of your state; shift it by revision, feel-it-real, and watch the outer fade while inner light grows.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the state 'I AM' now and feel the wind of awareness passing through your mind, cleansing fear and confusion. Then declare inwardly, 'I am the light behind the clouds,' allowing that inner light to illuminate your present moment.
