The Inner Majesty Within

Job 36:26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 36 in context

Scripture Focus

26Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
Job 36:26

Biblical Context

The verse states that God is great and beyond human understanding; we cannot fully know Him or count His years. It points to a reality beyond intellect, inviting inner awakening rather than outward calculation.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the single consciousness you call I AM, God’s greatness is not a fact to be weighed, but a living field of awareness in which every thought appears. To say we know Him is to mistake the surface for the whole; time and years are measurements of the external, not the lasting reality within. The verse invites you into the mystery, not to solve it with intellect, but to enter it with imagination. When you dwell in a state of pure awareness, you touch the unsearchable life that underpins all form. The measure of Him cannot be counted because the I AM is without boundary and is the source of all that arises. As you practice focusing on that inner vastness, your ordinary limits dissolve and you experience worship as alignment, not argument. Remember: imagination creates reality, and God’s grandeur is the grandeur of your own awakening. In this light the incomprehensible becomes intimate: you are the consciousness through which God is known.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, repeat 'I AM' as a living felt sense, and allow the sense of unlimited awareness to expand beyond former boundaries for a few minutes. Let the feeling of God within you revise any doubt about incomprehensibility.
