Inner Teaching by Divine Power

Job 36:22-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 36 in context

Scripture Focus

22Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
23Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
Job 36:22-23

Biblical Context

The verses affirm that God teaches by power, and that no one can rival His way. They deny any human claim to lay out or judge His acts.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold, the verse reveals that God exalts by His power, and in you that power is the I AM, the ever present teacher. Who teacheth like Him? In your inward atmosphere, the only true instructor is your own awareness, the I AM that feels and creates. No external voice can rival the inner movement of that divine mind, and the way He enjoins is the way your consciousness chooses when you presume the truth of your own divinity. If you hear a sense of direction, do not condemn it as future dependent; revise until that inner impulse becomes automatic. The line Thou hast wrought iniquity dissolves when you understand that all appearances arise from your present state of consciousness, and you, not God outside, determine the scene by the quality of your belief. Therefore turn within, align with the I AM, and assume that the inner Teacher is guiding your steps now. Your life will mirror that instruction as you dwell in this certainty, and the imagined becomes the realized.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare I am taught by the I AM within; the power of God is guiding my pathway now. Feel the certainty rise as you revise your sense of reality to match that inner instruction.
