Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Take heed not to regard iniquity, for choosing sin is choosing affliction. God exalteth by His power, and who teacheth like Him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Take heed of the call to abstain from iniquity not as a stern rule from above, but as a signal that your inner life has identified with a troubling state. In your inner life you have chosen sin as a steady story rather than the temporary pain you fear; yet the true action is revision: turn to the I AM, the Power within, the only teacher that matters. God exalteth by his power means the inner exaltation comes when you align with divine consciousness, not by outer circumstances. 'Who teacheth like him?' is a declaration that no external instructor compares with the inner Reality you already are. You can be taught by the Infinite; you can revise your sense of self from 'I am a sinner' to 'I am the I AM, instructed by the Infinite.' Your world reflects your inner state; the switch is to dwell in the feeling that the inner power is elevating you now, here. When you assume this truth, you live as the exalted self and let the outer stop dictating your fate.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and align with the I AM as your sole teacher; revise your self-image to the aware observer who does not choose iniquity, and feel the inner exaltation as real right now.
