Biblical Context
Job 35:5-8 invites you to look to higher heavens of consciousness and see that God is within, not a judge of your acts. Your inner wickedness or righteousness affects others, not divine punishment.
Neville's Inner Vision
View the heavens and the clouds as your inner skies, higher than the small self you think you are. The questions about sin or righteousness are not about God judging you from outside, but about the state you inhabit. God is the I AM within; your acts do not add to or subtract from Him, yet the life you live is shaped by the consciousness you wear. When you cling to wicked thoughts, you injure your own field and even touch others as you move through life. When you dwell in righteousness, you become a healing presence that can bless those around you. The verse tells you that what you do in your mind and with your heart matters more than ritual or outward appearances. Your state is the only currency that truly matters; it profits or harms the son of man because you are the differentiating center of your world. So turn your attention upward, revise the sense of limitation, and allow the I AM to inform your choices. As you imagine from that height, your world will reflect a more generous, true self back to you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the I AM is awake within you now; for a few minutes, rest in that higher state and imagine a current situation gently rearranging to reflect your new inner posture.
