Biblical Context
Cries rise and go unanswered because pride governs the words; vanity isn’t heard by God, and judgment stands before Him. The section ends with Job speaking vain words, inviting us to seek inner alignment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Job 35:12-16 as a map of your own inner weather. The cries that go unanswered are your restless thoughts racing on the surface, fed by the pride of opposite tendencies you mistake for power. When the verse says God will not heed vanity, it is reminding you that the I AM behind every image cannot be swayed by vanity’s clamor; judgment stands before Him as the natural demand of consistency between your inner state and its outward appearance. If you insist thou shalt not see him, you are still under the inner law; trust the implied principle—that your consciousness is the cause, and what you believe becomes your visible world. The anger spoken of is not punishment but the inner correction that nudges you from a lie to the truth; Job’s vanity-filled words are a signal to revise, reframe, and return to the living imagination that truly animates all. Therefore, turn from outward words to an inward conviction; awaken to the I AM that already knows and loves your fulfilled state, and allow judgment to yield to realization
