Inner Hearing Beyond Pride

Job 35:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 35 in context

Scripture Focus

12There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
Job 35:12

Biblical Context

There are cries that go unanswered because pride blocks the response. When the heart humbles, the I AM hears.

Neville's Inner Vision

In you, the line There they cry, but none giveth answer speaks to your present moment. The cry arises from a longing for change, yet the pride of evil men is the stubborn ego that demands to be seen, justified, and proven right. God is not a distant judge; God is the I AM within your awareness. When the inner state is saturated with pride, you block the channel through which God can respond and you dull the hearing by insisting on your own way. The cure is not more doing but more being: revise the state until you can listen. You assume a state of receptivity, letting truth wash over you, and feel the reality of justice already established in consciousness. As you dwell there, the outer scene begins to shift to match the inner alignment with the I AM. Imagination creates reality; by choosing the end first, you are led to the means. The answer is the shift of inner disposition—righteousness, truth, and faithfulness resting in consciousness—and the world simply follows.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume, I am heard now. Feel the relief as if the answer is already granted; release pride with each exhale.
