Inner Spirit, Wise Within
Job 32:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
There is a spirit in man, and divine inspiration awakens understanding. Great men or aging wisdom do not always bring true discernment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, you are not limited by the outward signs of power. The line in Job points to the inner faculty—the spirit in you. The 'inspiration of the Almighty' is not a distant event but a living state of consciousness that you can assume. When you feel the weight of age, rank, or worldly wisdom, you are merely identifying with a masquerade of yourself. Shift your identity to the I AM that perceives. In that shift, understanding arises as a natural function of your inner nature. Great men are not always wise; this means the outer world's barometers fail to certify true discernment. But the inner faculty—imagination, awareness, inner listening—receives the answer from the source of all knowledge. Your job is to quiet the noise of limitation and assume the feeling that you are already guided by the Almighty. When you suspend disbelief and rest in this inner certainty, decisions become clear, your judgments sharpen, and the right action flows, as if a hidden light illuminates your path. You are the one who can awaken this spirit by faith, not by age.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of inner guidance now: repeat, 'There is a spirit in me; the inspiration of the Almighty gives me understanding,' and feel that truth as your immediate reality. Let a brief moment of stillness seal it.
