Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Job 32:8 declares that a spirit dwells in man, and that the Almighty's inspiration grants understanding. It points to an inner source of wisdom rather than external authority.
Neville's Inner Vision
I tell you the truth: there is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding. The spirit is not a distant force but the I AM within, the steady awareness that remains when attention rests in now. When I align with this inside truth, inspiration comes as a sudden uplift of feeling—clear, steady, unforced—bringing discernment I could not summon from effort. The world’s questions resolve as I refuse to argue with lack and instead assume the state of already knowing. In that inner state, the mind becomes a clear conduit for divine ideas, and wisdom appears as right perception, without strain. The verse asks me to dwell in that divine presence until the light of consciousness itself guides every choice with faithful understanding.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and dwell in the I AM. Tell yourself, 'There is a spirit in me, and the inspiration of the Almighty gives me understanding,' then revise a question by assuming the answer is already known, feeling the clarity as if it has always been so.
