Inner Integrity, Enduring State

Job 27:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 27 in context

Scripture Focus

5God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
Job 27:5

Biblical Context

Job declares that he will not defend or justify his friends at the cost of his own integrity; he remains faithful to his inner standard until death.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the temple of your consciousness, Job’s vow is your own decision to dwell as the I AM, unshaken by outward judgments. To say 'till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me' is to abandon every shifting role the dream of life would cast and to choose the permanent state of truth. This is not arrogance but fidelity to the inner standard of rightness; by refusing to justify others with compromised motive, you stop bending your being to fit their opinion. Death here means the shedding of the old self-image, not physical extinction, and the continual practice of purity of heart. When pressure arises to condemn or defend, revise your scene to remain in the unwavering state you are—the Immaculate I AM—so the world around you reorients to that truth.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling: I am the I AM, unshaken by others’ judgments; when challenged, revise the scene and feel it real: I remain in my integrity until the end.
