Inner Teaching by God’s Hand
Job 27:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 27 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Job says he will teach you by the hand of God and will not conceal what is with the Almighty; he then asks why you remain vain when you have all seen the truth.
Neville's Inner Vision
When Job proclaims, 'I will teach you by the hand of God,' he is pointing you to the inner instructor you already inhabit. The 'hand of God' is not a distant power but your own I AM—the steady, imaginative faculty that animates every moment. The 'Almighty' you speak of is your awakened awareness, the state of consciousness in which truth becomes visible. You are not separated from it; you are its center. Therefore you do not conceal what is true about yourself; you reveal it by the quality of your attention and the images you entertain. The people around you may seem to see the evidence too, yet vanity arises when you pretend the truth is somewhere outside you. The real question is: what condition of consciousness are you entertaining? The outer world is only the echo of your inner movements. Practice to align with this inner reality: assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, revise any limiting self-concept, and dwell in the sense, 'I AM that I AM, here and now.' In that mood, the inner hand of God teaches you, and what appears outward verifies your inner state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and affirm, 'I am the hand of God, guiding me now.' Visualize a warm, inner hand steadying your thoughts; revise a current limitation into abundance and feel the realness of the change in your chest.
