Garnishing the Heavens Within

Job 26:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 26 in context

Scripture Focus

13By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Job 26:13

Biblical Context

The passage states that God's Spirit has garnished the heavens and His hand has created the crooked serpent. It points to a divine order that includes even the 'crooked' patterns within creation.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your being, the heavens you see are states of consciousness, not distant skies. The Spirit that garnishes them is your own I AM presence. The crooked serpent is a bent pattern in your mind—fear, doubt, habitual thought—formed by the same Spirit that orders the heavens. You do not fight it; you revise it by assuming the truth of Spirit as your real I AM and by imagining the state you desire until it feels real. Providence is your inner law moving in harmony with your assumed truths; order emerges as you align your inner sight with a fresh image of yourself. When you acknowledge that you co-create through imagination, the crooked path becomes a doorway to greater alignment with the divine order within you.

Practice This Now

Assume 'I AM Spirit within me garnishes the heavens.' Then revise the crooked serpent as a pattern being reordered by that Spirit, and feel the new image as real in your chest and mind.
