Peaceful Dominions Within High Places
Job 25:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 25 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God rules with dominion and fear; He makes peace from his high places. His light rises upon all and shines in every situation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your own consciousness, dominion is the awareness that you are the I AM in action. Fear arises only as a mistaken identity, a small cloud in the vast sky of awareness. The lines say that He makes peace in his high places; contemplate the 'high places' as the elevated states of mind where you, not the problem, reign. Peace is not the absence of noise but the presence of unwavering stillness in the integrator of all experiences—the I AM that you are. 'Is there any number of his armies?' speaks to the innumerable signs of the divine order—habits of thought, impulses, moods—arrayed to serve your fulfillment when the mind is aligned. 'Upon whom doth not his light arise?' declares that the light of consciousness shines on every situation and person touching your life; your awareness is the light that reveals unity, order, and providence. Rest in this: you are the one who commands dominion, and every fear dissolves as you allow the light to rise in your heart.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and place a throne of light in your mind's high place. Assume you are the I AM in command; declare, 'I am the dominion and the peace in this moment,' and feel the light rise and flood your heart.
