Job 25:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 25 in context

Scripture Focus

1Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
Job 25:1-3

Biblical Context

Bildad declares that God holds dominion and peace, and that His light shines on all, even in the high places.

Neville's Inner Vision

Bildad’s lines whisper that dominion and fear stand with God, that peace dwells in the high places. But in this mystic sense, you and God are one I AM. The word dominion points to the sovereign state you awaken in your own mind when you claim that awareness as ruler of your experience. Fear is just a temporary dancer on that stage; peace is what remains when you refuse to project limitation and instead allow the light of your true nature to rise. The question about armies becomes a reminder that none of your scenes can outshine the light that rests on your inner horizon an endless radiance arising wherever consciousness is awake. When you dwell in the I AM and imagine yourself as the source of order, you naturally make peace in the high places of your thought; you illuminate every corner where doubt once ruled. Your present perception becomes the field in which reality rearranges itself to reflect your inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare I AM the ruler of my mind. Revise fear into peaceful confidence and feel the inner light rise in the high places of thought.
