Job's Inner Answering
Job 23:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 23 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Job speaks in the middle of his distress, opening a personal dialogue that signals a turn toward seeking understanding. His reply marks the beginning of a tested faith under trial.
Neville's Inner Vision
Job's simple moment, 'Then Job answered and said,' is the inner movement you can make right now. In Neville's terms, the external speech is a symptom that your awareness is ready to reframe. Suffering and trials arise when you entertain a belief of separation from the I AM within. When Job speaks, the voice you hear is your own inner I AM stepping forward as the perceiver, not the problem. The truth is that God is the I AM within, and the world you observe is a stream of images born from your inner state. Therefore the answer to hardship is not found in arguing with circumstances, but in assuming the feeling that you are already heard and guided by your inner Lord. If you persist in the assumption that you are known, blessed, and attended by the divine, your inner movement shifts, and the scenes around you begin to reflect that new state. So your revision is to acknowledge the one who answers is the you who knows you are heard.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, recall Job 23:1, and imagine addressing your inner I AM as Job does. Then declare 'I am heard now' and dwell in the felt sense of being answered.
