Seeing Righteousness, Feeling Joy

The verse speaks of the righteous who see something and rejoice, while the innocent mock the wicked.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this brief line, Goddard would have you notice that the scene described is not a remote event but a movement of consciousness. The righteous are simply your I AM recognizing the alignment of conditions with the state you entertain. When you allow yourself to see it and feel its truth, you are already in possession of the outcome. The glad is the mood produced by knowing that your inner state has resolved what appears outwardly as conflict. The innocent laughing at them is the inner critic or the old mind that pretends to punish elsewhere; yet in your new state, that laughter becomes a playful, nonresisting witness who knows the law. This is a declaration of accountability: you are not at the mercy of outward circumstances but the author of them through your consciousness. So dwell in the quiet certainty that the just end is present in imagination, and let your feelings match that certainty. Practice this by returning to the assumed scene of justice whenever doubt arises, and let the inner joy refresh your sense of peace and hope for the future.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the state of the righteous; visualize the scene of justice already accomplished, feel the joy now, and declare I AM that I am, letting this feeling settle as your real state.
