Inner Heights of Job 22:12-19

Job 22:12-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 22 in context

Scripture Focus

12Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!
13And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?
14Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.
15Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?
16Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:
17Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them?
18Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
19The righteous see it, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.
Job 22:12-19

Biblical Context

God stands above the visible, yet the passage shows that human doubt cannot outpace the divine order. It also reveals that the fortunes of the wicked and the righteous are seen from within, where Providence is known by those who awaken to inner truth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the height of heaven not as a distant sky but as the reach of your own awareness. The stars are thoughts arranged in the sky of your mind; to question God is to question the light that you are. Clouds are only coverings you project when you forget the I AM that you are. Walk the circuit of heaven, a circle of consciousness where all is known to the I AM. The old ways of the wicked are habits of separation, cut down by the flood of realized presence. Their foundation seeming to be overflown is simply the collapse of the old story you told about lack; yet the divine provision remains accessible when you align with the truth that you are the source of your world. When you truly see from this inner vantage, the counsel of the wicked is far from me, the righteous see and rejoice, and the innocent laugh at fear, because you know that all outcomes flow from your inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare that you are the I AM now; dwell in the height of heaven within. Revise the belief that anything outside your consciousness can govern you, and feel inner Providence flooding your life.
