Job 21:7-8 Inner Kingdom

Job 21:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 21 in context

Scripture Focus

7Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?
8Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.
Job 21:7-8

Biblical Context

Job 21:7–8 questions the visible prosperity of the wicked and their lasting power, noting their children nearby. In plain terms, outward success does not reveal the true inner state of life.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your life is not measured by the age or power of others, but by the state you accept as true within your own consciousness. When you read that the wicked live long and stand strong, interpret it as a picture conjured in your imagination, not a verdict about persons outside you. The seed established in their sight is the seed you project in your own mind; therefore, the seed of prosperity, health, and family longevity must be planted in your inner country. If you assume the I AM as your vitality and resource, you will begin to witness the outer scene aligning to that inner image. The 'kingdom of God' described is the I AM reigning in you here and now, a present, unchanging reality that can only be realized by your inner assent. So revise: imagine that your days are long, your wealth stable, and your offspring thriving because you are the consciousness that approves such reality. Your world merely reflects your inner state; by changing that state, you move the world toward your desired flourishing.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and revise the scene by assuming the I AM as your wealth and long life now; see your family prospering before you with unwavering ease, and feel it real. Let that feeling linger, then open and proceed as if the inner image has already become your outward experience.
