Read Job 19 in context

Scripture Focus

27Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
Job 19:27

Biblical Context

Job declares he will see God for himself with his own eyes, not through another; he does so even in the face of physical distress.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, you are not waiting for a future event; you are awakening to the consciousness that already sees. When Job says, 'whom I shall see for myself,' he is naming the I AM that cannot be external to you. The world of appearances is a theater of inner states; the reins consumed within him is the old tense energy of fear dissolving as the heart of awareness asserts, I am the watcher who beholds. The eyes that shall behold are the eyes of the inner man, the clear light of awareness—your present I AM—watching and declaring the Presence as already real. The promise is not that God appears somewhere distant, but that your sense of separation dissolves in the certainty of the I AM. In this moment, you identify with the see-er rather than the seen; the world submits to your consciousness, and even pain serves as fuel for the transition from doubt to recognition. The assurance of the verse is a rule of mind: what you presume as real in consciousness becomes the conditions of your experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and dwell in the feeling, I am seeing You now; keep this state for a few minutes, letting the sense of Presence fill you.
