Hidden Snares, Inner Liberation
Job 18:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Job 18:9 describes a hidden snare that grips the heel and a robber who prevails, signaling an inward attack rather than an outer enemy.
Neville's Inner Vision
The passage is a map of inward states. The gin taking him by the heel is the belief you hold about your limitations; the robber that prevails is the habit of fear, lack, or insufficiency you rehearse in your mind. These are not external powers but images your imagination has accepted as real. When you identify with the I AM—the ever-present awareness—you step out of the scene. Imagination creates reality; therefore, reverse the script by choosing a higher state and dwelling there until the old trap loses its grip. Do not wrestle with the entrapment; revise your inner sense of self and feel the truth of your unassailable being. As you persist in the feeling of already being free, the outward appearance shifts to reflect your inner revision. The future you hope for becomes the present you enact through inner conviction.
Practice This Now
Assume the state: "I AM the I AM; these snares have no power over me." Feel it real, then visualize stepping free from the trap and linger in the liberated feeling until it dominates your sense of reality.
