Brief Troubles, Eternal I Am
Job 14:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Job 14:1 presents life as brief and full of trouble. The outward condition mirrors the inner state of consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that to be 'born of a woman' is to wear the outward garment of human experience. The 'few days' and the 'trouble' are not fixed by heaven, but by your present assumptions and feelings. In truth, you are the I AM, the constant awareness that cannot be moved by changing weather of circumstance. When you identify with the body or the surface happenings, you contract time and invite trials; when you identify with the timeless I AM, you compress trouble into a memory and allow peace to rise. Therefore, revise your inner state now. Assume you are already the resolution you seek; feel it as real, as if the outer world reflected your inward certainty. Repeat softly, I AM that I AM, and dwell in the sense of completion, not the sense of lack. As you persist in this inner sense, the days you experience become longer in meaning and the trouble dissolves into light. The verse then becomes a doorway: your consciousness is the creator, and your world follows the state you entertain.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise your morning by assuming the state you desire. Say I AM the I AM now and feel it as peace, letting that inner light rewrite the day.
