Salvation Through Inner Alignment

Job 13:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Job 13 in context

Scripture Focus

16He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Job 13:16

Biblical Context

The verse asserts that true salvation comes from God. A hypocrite cannot draw near Him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Salvation, in this verse, is not a rescue from without but an awakening within your own I AM. When Job speaks of salvation, he points to the awareness that you are God expressing as the self you call 'I.' The hypocrite embodies the outward mask that forgets this truth; it cannot approach the living presence you truly are. In Neville's terms, you do not seek salvation from a distant judge, you become the judge and the witness. Your inner consent to the truth creates your experience. If you cling to a separate self, you shut the door to the presence that saves. So revise your self-image until you inhabit the identity of the I AM. When you dwell in the feeling of being already saved—fully conscious and present—the belief in lack and separation dissolves and the inner God steps forward to fulfill Job's assertion.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state that you are salvation itself. Feel the I AM as a living presence within and revise any self-image of separation until you know you are already saved.
