Job 12:1-6 Inner Wisdom
Job 12:1-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 12 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Job answers his critics and asserts he too has understanding. He notes that the upright are mocked, while the prosperous schemes of the wicked appear secure.
Neville's Inner Vision
Job's reply is your own inner monologue when you hear the chorus saying wisdom dies with the crowd. See that the 'I' who knows is not their audience; the I AM within you is the sole author of your experience. The apparent prosperity of the robbers, the scorn cast on the just, are just states of consciousness that visit you as you forget who you are. When you accept that God does not labor in some external economy but in the interior, you see that abundance follows from the revision of belief, not from fortune or misfortune. The lamp shines for those ready to walk in ease; yet the lamp's light is your awareness itself now, not a future blessing. Therefore, claim your own wisdom as your birthright, and let the world be revised by the feeling that your inner I AM is prospering, untroubled by appearances. The true 'tabernacles of robbers' are the old scripts you outgrow; into your hand God brings abundantly when you know you are God within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the I AM is your immediate consciousness here and now. Revise the scene by feeling that wisdom and prosperity are already yours, and let that feeling realign every outward sign.
