Inner Boundaries of Knowledge
Job 11:8-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Job 11 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses declare that God’s knowledge exceeds every human measure and that nothing can hinder His will. They state that He sees vanity and wickedness and acts from a boundless, providential awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Job’s stark assertion, the heaven and the earth are not distant shores but inner weather. The message is that your ordinary mind is a small, limited measure; the I AM in you is far vaster, longer than any earthly scale. When you sense that you can know only so much, you forget that the divine mind that knows is the same I AM that dwells in you right now, and this awareness can expand beyond every apparent boundary. The line about Him cutting off or gathering together speaks of shifts in inner state—when you feel shut up by fear or limitation, you are simply reflecting a momentary contraction. Yet the All-Knowing Presence is never hindered; it sees vanity and wickedness inside and outside but remains sovereign, guiding you toward realization. By aligning your imagination with this truth, you stop measuring God by your human clock and begin living as if the entire realm of possibility already rests in your own consciousness. Your task is to awaken to the fact that your mind’s measure is the measure of all; nothing can hinder your I AM when you simply accept its unlimited scope.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In the next moment, assume the feeling I AM the limitless awareness now. Revise any sense of limitation and feel it-real that nothing can hinder my realization.
