Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Do not boast in wisdom, power, or riches. Instead, glory in understanding and knowing the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your true glory is not in clever ideas, mighty deeds, or worldly wealth, but in the simple recognition that you are the I AM, the LORD within. When you declare I understand and know the LORD, you summon a state of consciousness that acts with lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in your world. The phrase 'uncircumcised in heart' exposes an inner habit: a fence that keeps you from the consciousness of unity with divine law. The days of reproof come only when you linger in that separation; yet you can reverse it now by returning to the inner truth. Fix your attention on the I AM you are, the LORD within who loves and judges rightly. In this inward alignment, outer scenes soften and reflect mercy, fairness, and truth. The "punishment" spoken of is simply your own resistance dissolved as you awaken to your original birthright of consciousness, where lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness are the governing principles.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and assume the simple sentence, I understand and know the LORD within me; feel that truth as present now. Let any boastful thought about wisdom, power, or riches dissolve in that felt-sense of inner awareness.
