14But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
Jeremiah 9:13-14

Biblical Context

In Jeremiah 9:13–14, people abandon God's law, refuse His voice, and follow the imagination of their own heart, chasing idols.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jeremiah names a universal inner rebellion: forsaking the law I set before them, and heeding the imagination of their own heart, following the Baalim. It describes a state of consciousness you may recognize: obedience to private images rather than to the I AM that dwells within. The remedy is simple and radical: re-establish the inner law, revise the imagined scene, and feel it real as the present. When you dwell in the consciousness that already has what you seek, your outer world rearranges to match. Your true worship is not a ritual but attunement to the one I AM, a disciplined attention that turns away from idols and toward the living law within.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, declare 'I am now in the law of God within me,' and imagine a scene where that law governs every thought and action; feel it real until it becomes your present sense.
