Biblical Context
The verse states that the people ignored God's law and did not heed his voice or walk in his path.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through Neville’s inner lens, this verse is not a history lesson but a mirror of your own consciousness. 'Forsaken my law' signals a moment when you have forgotten the steady, inner pattern by which your life is meant to move. 'Not obeyed my voice' is the inner argument that you follow outer impulse over the I AM guidance within. When you identify with a self that ignores the still, intimate push toward harmony, you walk not in the path that is set before you. The remedy is to return to the inner law as the living standard by which you judge every thought, feeling, and choice. The I AM within you is the voice that gently orders your steps; notice it, align with it, and your outward activities begin to reflect that obedience. By imagining yourself obedient now, you re-create the inner climate that makes obedience real in action. It is not about changing others, but about correcting your state of consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, feel the chest rise, and declare: I am walking in the law I have set before me; I obey the inner voice now. Then revise: if you have felt compelled by distraction, revise the sense I was disobedient to I am now obedient.
