6If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

7Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

Do not trust lying words about the temple; true dwelling comes from inner reform. The text calls you to amend your ways, practice justice toward others, and abandon empty rituals and idols so you may truly inhabit the land of your consciousness.

All the words in this oracle are not about a building, but about your inner state. The 'temple of the LORD' is the I AM you awaken to, the living awareness that cannot be destroyed by time or ritual. The 'lying words' cloak the mind in belief that an outer temple or ceremony saves you; when you accept such belief you live in fear and separation. If you thoroughly amend your ways—learning to judge rightly between inner states and choosing mercy toward your own vulnerable parts—you align with the inner law and dwell in the land of your true consciousness. To oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow in your thought-world is to deny the unity of life within you; to shed innocent blood is to release guilt, envy, and anger into your mind. Walking after other gods is worshipping substitutes—habit, fear, or status—rather than the living I AM. The promise is not a physical place, but a state of being: you will live from this inner temple, forever and ever, when you align action with truth.

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, declare, I am the temple now, and revise the belief that the temple is outside me. Then picture yourself treating someone with justice and kindness, guided by the inner I AM, and feel that inner alignment becoming your lived reality.
