Inner Temple Truth Awakening
Jeremiah 7:4-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jeremiah warns against trusting lying words about the temple and outward forms. True dwelling comes from amending your ways with justice, mercy, and turning away from idols.
Neville's Inner Vision
To defy the lie of a mere temple, you must see that the temple of the LORD is the state of awareness you now assume. The phrase 'the temple of the LORD' points to the I AM within, the living current you awaken when you choose to interpret life from inner truth rather than external ceremony. If you thoroughly amend your ways—by how you treat the other, by protecting the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow within your own mind—you invite the divine presence to dwell in this inner place. Oppression, whether toward others or toward your own vulnerable parts, blocks that indwelling; shedding innocent blood is the sabotage of your authentic self. To walk after other gods is to yield to attachments that promise safety apart from inner fidelity. Your covenant is not with a stone but with the state you hold in consciousness. When your inner decisions align with justice, mercy, and loyalty to your true covenant, you inhabit the inner land you were given, now and forever, by your I AM.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of dwelling in the inner promised land now: I am the temple of the LORD, established in justice and mercy. Feel it real by revising any inner judgment or attachment as you breathe, until your inner state aligns with that covenant.
