Biblical Context
Jeremiah 7:14 speaks of the temple you call by God's name and the place given to you. If you trust outward structures rather than your inner awareness, inner certainty erodes, echoing Shiloh's fate.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jeremiah's warning is not about a stone house; it is about the state of your consciousness. The 'house' called by God’s name and the 'place' given to you are symbols of the inner sanctuary you trust. When you lean on outward forms—rites, titles, or lineage—you are trusting appearances rather than the living I AM presently aware. The fate of Shiloh becomes an inner reminder: collapse comes when awareness is held captive by symbols, not by the Presence that fills all. In Neville’s practice, judgment becomes an invitation to revision. You are not punished by God; you are invited to re-create the temple in imagination, to restore the inner trust to the I AM that you are. See that the temple is only as real as the consciousness that animates it; change the consciousness, and the form survives in a new light. So return to the living Presence within, claim the I AM as your sole ruler, and refuse to let outer signs dictate your reality. When you dwell in this truth, the old structure yields to the undeniable reality that you are God in expression.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the I AM is the temple you inhabit; revise the scene by declaring, 'I am the presence that dwells in this temple.' Feel it real by lighting the inner sanctuary with warm, golden light and breathing in that awareness.
