Ashamed No More: Inner Judgment

Jeremiah 6:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 6 in context

Scripture Focus

15Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 6:15

Biblical Context

The verse warns that those who commit abominations without shame will fall. The outer consequence reflects an inner condition of unawareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, the verse does not threaten distant powers; it reveals your inner life. The abomination is not a deed out there but a state of consciousness that refuses to blush at misalignment. When there is no blush—no remorse—the inner law casts you into the same circle of fallen states until your awareness visits them and casts them down. The visitation is not punishment but awakening: I, the I AM, behold the belief that you are apart from your good and witness the fall within you. The remedy is to revise the assumption behind the action: claim your inner sanctity, imagine yourself as one who does not shrink from truth, and feel it as real now. As you inhabit the revived I AM, the outer scene dissolves and a genuine return unfolds.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM now. Feel the alignment as a real sensation in your chest and imagine yourself already restored to wholeness.
