Jeremiah 6:11-12 Inner Transformation
Jeremiah 6:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of a coming outpouring of divine fury that will affect people and property. It signals upheaval when a community lives out of alignment with the divine order.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this text the outer fury is not a punishment aimed at others but the living energy of awareness breaking through a lagging consciousness. When I read, 'I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in,' I hear the moment when your consciousness can no longer repress the surge of the I AM. The 'children abroad' and the 'assembly of young men' represent the parts of you clinging to old stories; the uniting of husband and wife and the aged with days stands for the collapse of stale identities yoked to time. 'Houses' and 'fields' turned to others signal old mental structures being rearranged by the now-awakened mind; your attention is being stretched toward a new order. The LORD’s hand upon the inhabitants of the land is your own decision to act as the I AM in you, reorganizing your inner scene. If you recognize that this upheaval occurs inside you, you may welcome it as the birth pangs of a renewed life, already present in your consciousness.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already in the new state; feel the transforming energy move through your inner landscape and watch old patterns dissolve.
