Inner Warning: Jeremiah 6:10-15
Jeremiah 6:10-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Jeremiah 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The prophet warns that the people refuse to hear the Lord’s warning; their ears are closed and they seek false peace, leading to judgment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jeremiah’s cry is not a history lesson but a mirror for the mind. The 'uncircumcised ear' is a consciousness that cannot hear the word because it clings to stale pictures. The word of the LORD is your own awareness speaking through you; when you resist, you feel the 'fury' as the unrest of old beliefs. The threat that houses and fields will be turned over is the outer image of a mind rearranging its settled images. From least to greatest, the dream-state leans toward covetousness and false dealing until you awaken to a single governor: I AM. To soften judgment, do not chase external peace; revise the inner frame until peace feels real. Decide that you hear the inner word and act from it, and you will see the outward world align with that inner order. The alarm becomes guidance toward a purified inner life, a state you can claim here and now by feeling the reality of I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare, 'I am the I AM; I hear and I choose peace now.' Feel the inner Word rising as truth and let the outer life gently align.
