Biblical Context
In Jeremiah 52:9–10, Babylon captures King Zedekiah, brings him to Riblah, and executes his sons and Judah's princes as judgment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the scene is not history but a drama of consciousness. The king is your I AM—awareness that reigns when undisturbed. Babylon is the outward appearances that would rule your life. Riblah is the inner tribunal where you pronounce what is true for you. The sons of Zedekiah and the princes of Judah symbolize the old beliefs, fears, and habits you have treated as guards of your kingdom. Their being slain before the king’s eyes is inner justification for letting go of those mere appearances; it is the cleansing judgment that tears away illusions that once looked permanent. This act is not doom but a turning of the inner wheel, clearing the mind for a higher authority. As you realize the I AM is the ruler, you release attachment to the past and invite a new order—the Kingdom of God within—where true power returns to still, quiet awareness. You are the judge and the king; the outer world merely reflects your present inner state. Acknowledging this transformation now dissolves the old reflectors.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and assume the state, 'I AM the King of my world.' See Riblah within as your inner courtroom and feel the old beliefs, fears, and attachments released from consciousness as the true kingdom arises now.
