Leaving Babylon Within

Jeremiah 51:45 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Jeremiah 51 in context

Scripture Focus

45My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
Jeremiah 51:45

Biblical Context

The verse calls My people to leave the midst of her and rescue each soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

This is a call to shift your inner state, not to flee a place. The people are the I AM within you, waking to possibility. The command to go out of the midst of her invites you to withdraw attention from a Babylon of fear, judgment, and appearance. The fierce anger represents the fiery conviction of doom your mind projects when you identify with lack or limitation. The work is to revise from within, to stand in the awareness that you are the creator of your experience. If you imagine a new feeling of safety, gratitude, and love, your outer conditions align with that inner state. You are not acted upon by external events but are the source of them through your imagination. Depart the old likeness, and rest in the I AM that sees and declares freedom through steady, loving attention.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and step from the crowd of old beliefs into a quiet inner room. Revise the scene with the statement I am delivered from fear and anger, and then feel it real by breathing deeply and affirming I AM freedom.
