Inner Winds of Judgment
Jeremiah 51:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Jeremiah 51:1-4 announces Babylon's doom: a destroying wind rises to empty her land, surrounded by trouble. The verse also foresees the slaying of many and the utter destruction of her host.
Neville's Inner Vision
Look within, for Babylon is your outward self, the stubborn stories you tell about limitation. The destroying wind is not a weapon of a distant empire, but a cleansing motion of consciousness that sweeps away fixed notions. When trouble rises round about, it is the inner surrounding of fear loosening its grip, making room for a new order of unity. The fanners who shall fan her represent the thoughts and circumstances that scatter the old belief-system until its land is emptied of its riches. To bend, to lift up, and to strike at the young men are images of resistance and pride kept alive by memory. In Neville's reading, these are the last attempts of the old ego to organize itself against the I AM. The message is not punishment but release: the slain in the land and those thrust through in her streets symbolize the death of the old borders within you, the collapse of the inner walls that kept you from your true state. Your true self, your I AM, remains invincible as you consent to this inner judgment and align with the new sovereignty.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and declare, 'I AM the I AM; I create this moment.' Picture the stormy inner Babylon being swept away by a cleansing wind, and feel the new order settling into your consciousness.
