Read Jeremiah 50 in context

Scripture Focus

9For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.
10And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 50:9-10

Biblical Context

The passage speaks of a coming assembly from the north against Babylon, with arrows swift and precise. It also declares that Chaldea will be spoiled, in the LORD's word.

Neville's Inner Vision

Inner drama wears the garb of nations coming against Babylon, and you must see that Babylon is a state of consciousness, a fixed belief within you. The north-country assembly is the surge of conflicting thoughts and feelings that roll into your awareness when you demand external solutions from a sense of lack. The arrows, precise and strong, are the focused ideas you choose to believe and act upon. When you hold to a revised state with unwavering clarity, none of these thoughts return to you in vain; they complete their work according to your inner motion. Chaldea becoming a spoil is the renewal of your mind as old stories lose their grip; the Lord’s word is your own awareness declaring: I am free; I am enough; I am the substance of my world. The event you call 'the spoil' is the release of old identities and conditions, not punishment from without. So, inwardly know that your I AM is arranging the field, guiding every movement of mind toward the liberty you desire. Focus, not on fear, but on the living assurance that you are the source of all you behold.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume you are the I AM in charge of your world. Revise by declaring I am the power that arranges my circumstances, and feel the truth as if it is already so.
